Sourcing 3D Orbz & 4D Foil Balloons: The Direct-Source Factory Blueprint
Founded 2007. 5 million RMB registered capital. Our own CNC mold shop, our own high-frequency weld lines, our own inflation test chambers. If your catalog needs a balloon orbz that holds a true sphere under pressure — not a puckered flat sheet pretending to be round — you source it from the line, not a trading desk.
I. Flat Mylar Puckers. A Real Sphere Does Not.
Automotive showrooms, luxury retail, high-budget event builds — they all specify the same thing now. A wrinkle-free sphere. Standard flat round foil balloons and conventional round mylar balloons pucker at the edges the moment they reach full inflation. Soft dimples. Visible seams. Buyers reject the shipment.
A premium shaped foil balloon is a different product class. It holds internal pressure uniformly and keeps its geometry for days. A true 4d foil balloon or heavy-duty beach ball mylar balloon distributes gas volume across the full chamber instead of loading the seam line. No dimples. No sag.
We run automated laminating lines and CNC-machined mold shapes in-house. Every shipment of helium balloons wholesale, custom metallic orbz, and 3D spheres leaves our floor with dimensional consistency across the run and full gloss retention on the metallized face.
II. BOPET Cannot Stretch. Nylon Can.
The bottleneck on any 3D balloon orbz is elongation. Cheap flat balloons run on bi-axially oriented polyester (BOPET). High tensile strength, almost zero elasticity. Force BOPET into a sphere and the film stress-cracks at the panel joints. Gas leaks immediately.
We run a multi-layer co-extruded Nylon (PA) and Polyethylene (PE) composite instead. Nylon carries molecular memory and flexible elongation. It stretches at the seam under pressure and settles into a clean sphere. We laminate that against a high-purity aluminum vacuum metallization layer. The result is a molecular barrier that retains helium roughly five times longer than standard Mylar.
Color spectrum runs across the full metallized range. Pull a mixed container and consolidate the SKUs:
III. Quad Weld Engineering: Where Cheap Spheres Burst
A 3D sphere is not two flat sheets pressed together. It is four curved panels — quads — welded under high-frequency heat. The failure point is always the pole, where the four vertices meet. Under-pressurize that weld and the sphere bursts at the top. Every cheap orbz on the market fails here.
| Engineering Parameter | Premium 3D Orbz (18" - 22") | Jumbo 4D Spheres (32" - 40") |
|---|---|---|
| Polymer Substrate | Nylon (PA) + PE Laminated Multi-layer Co-extrusion | Heavy-Duty Laminated Elastic Foil with EVOH Barrier Layer |
| Seam Fusion Thickness | 5.5mm High-Frequency Flat Weld Line | 6.5mm Dual-Track Reinforced Weld with Stress-Relief Radius |
| Inflation Pressure Capacity | Up to 1.8 PSI (Optimal Spherical Tightness) | Up to 2.2 PSI (Extreme Wind & Temperature Resistance) |
| Luster Formulation | Solid Metallic, Translucent Crystal, Pastel Velvet | Chrome High-Mirror Vacuum Metallized Foil Coating |
| Gas Valve Integration | Built-in Smart Self-Sealing Polymeric Sealing Valve | Heavy-Duty Double-Flap Polyethylene Self-Sealing Valve |
We solve the pole stress point with CAD flow simulation before the mold is ever cut. Gas velocity and thermodynamic pressure are modeled across each panel under automated inflation. Copper and aluminum welding molds are then CNC-machined with micro-radius rounded edges. That stress-relief profile spreads internal tension evenly along the weld border and lifts the burst threshold on every mylar quad balloon we ship.
Benchmark against the major brands and the compatibility lines run across the same production floor: foil orbz balloons, foil orb balloons, and compatible anagram orbz and anagram orbz balloons series. Finish options span gold orbz balloons, rose gold orbz, white orbz balloons, pastel pink orbz balloon, lilac orbz balloon, and marble orbz balloon. Square-configured cubez balloons run on the same lines if your catalog needs the geometry.
IV. Bundle the Starbursts. Same Container, Same Invoice.
Nobody displays a sphere alone. Event designers pair round 3D spheres with multi-point star novelties — high-contrast focal points that pull foot traffic and get photographed. Layering metallic spheres against starbursts multiplies the visual impact without adding freight cost.
We manufacture the starbursts on the same floor. Consolidate starburst balloon series, high-gloss starburst foil balloon selections, and commercial-grade starburst mylar balloons onto one freight invoice with your sphere order. Standard multi-point stars — gold starburst balloon, black starburst balloons — are assembled with reinforced sealing seams rated for long-term hotel and showroom display under temperature variation.
Pre-assembled kits ship ready to hang. No on-site cone inflation, no tying. Our high-frequency sealing lines produce complete exploding star balloon kits, 12 point star balloon sets, and retro-spec disco foil balloons, disco ball foil balloons, disco balls balloons, and disco ball mylar balloons for amusement venues, night clubs, and concert arenas worldwide.
Automated In-Line Inspection on Batch Samples
Barrier films, metallized coatings, and printing inks for the 3D Orbz and 4D sphere lines are formulated to pass heavy-metal-free screening. The test reports we hold for the foil and biodegradable lines are EN71 (SGS report number SHTY130500007975-01), RoHS (EU) 2015/863 (SGS report number SHAHG2207652301), and ISO 14855-1:2012 (SGS report number SHMR220700361301). Coverage of a specific SKU by these reports is confirmed at quotation stage.
Every batch of 3D spheres, 4D round balloons, and multi-point starbursts runs through an inflation inspection held for a controlled window in a temperature-monitored chamber. High-resolution optical cameras track volumetric loss across the test window and flag any unit showing a pressure drop. The inspection window and sampling plan for a given order are confirmed at quotation stage.
V. Sourcing FAQ: 3D Orbz & 4D Foil Balloons
A standard round foil balloon is formed from two flat sheets of film pressed together. Under full inflation it puckers at the edges and shows visible seams. A 3D Orbz balloon is welded from four curved panels under high-frequency heat, using a Nylon and PE composite substrate that stretches into a true sphere. The result is a smooth, wrinkle-free, pressure-stable geometry that holds its shape for days.
On a four-panel quad sphere, the pole is where all four vertices meet. It concentrates the highest internal pressure during inflation. Low-grade manufacturers under-pressurize that weld, so the sphere bursts at the top. FAIR models gas flow and thermodynamic pressure with CAD simulation before cutting the mold, then CNC-machines copper and aluminum welding molds with micro-radius rounded edges. That stress-relief profile distributes tension evenly along the weld and raises the burst threshold significantly.
Premium 3D Orbz (18 to 22 inch) use a multi-layer co-extruded Nylon (PA) and Polyethylene (PE) composite substrate laminated against a high-purity aluminum vacuum metallization layer. Jumbo 4D spheres (32 to 40 inch) add an EVOH barrier layer for heavy-duty retention. Both constructions retain helium roughly five times longer than standard BOPET Mylar film.
Yes. FAIR manufactures multi-point starburst lines, exploding star kits, 12 point star balloon sets, and disco ball foil balloons on the same floor as our 3D spheres. Sourcing managers consolidate starburst balloon series, starburst foil balloon selections, and starburst mylar balloons onto a single freight invoice. Pre-assembled kits ship ready to hang, eliminating on-site cone inflation and tying labor.

MOQ scales with the run. Stock colors and standard sizes start lower. Full custom mold tooling, 8-color rotogravure print runs, and jumbo 4D sphere configurations start at a higher threshold.
